These reproductions are supplied exclusively to Round Wood Trading following the decision to commission and develop a design that, whilst remaining portable and practical, does justice to the original Moai Heads on Rapa Nui. This has been achieved through casting and sculpting with a frost-proof, malleable concrete and fibreglass composite that allows for a thick layer to be crafted around a hollow mould. The result are Giant Easter Island Statues - the largest available on a non bespoke basis - that weigh less than their smaller reconstituted stone/concrete counterparts.
